I have finally acquired my 12 spaces for two-wheeled vehicles. Ideally located in a big city district, in the basement of a building guarded and placed under telesurveillance.

It all started while I was browsing through the classified ads. I saw a classified ad that had just been published about this lot of twelve parking spaces for two wheels. Interested, I contacted the owner to visit the property and the next day, I got an appointment to visit it. The visit went well. I liked the pitches, the neighborhood as well and I thought there was a possibility to do something good with this parking lot. So after some calculations and some time to think about it, I made a proposal to the owner. We managed to come to an agreement.

And on Monday, I signed the purchase of my parking spaces. However, I would like to share with you an interesting experience that took place at the notary’s office. I visited this parking lot in March and committed myself to purchase it ; by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt from the owner at the beginning of April in accordance with the instructions of the notary. On Monday 15 June, I went to the notary’s office to sign the sale. At the time of the signature, the notary turned to my seller with whom I had had a very cordial relationship for months and said to him “let’s start with the things that annoy !”. My seller immediately says “yes, by the way ; I don’t want to pay for this bill because I won’t benefit from it”. I want the buyer to pay”. Needless to say, at the time I didn’t understand what was going on.

In fact, it is electrical work voted by the trustee of the building in which my sites are located. These works have been voted since the month of March, my owner was therefore. Of course, aware of all this and was careful not to let me know and waited until the last moment because he had no choice but to let me know that the owners would each have the modest sum of $ 2,500 to give for these works. On the day of the signing, he tried to do everything he could to make me pay this salty bill.

On behalf of the entire Parking Garage collective team ; I wish you and your loved ones a happy new year 2018 ! Each beginning of the year announces the traditional good resolutions. You will take the time to take stock of your wishes, your dreams, your investment projects, additional income or financial freedom. In 2018 we will concentrate our forces to help those who really want to buy one or more parking lots, first purchase or expansion of assets will be our leitmotif !

The year 2017 has been a very rich year of rebounds. My main objective was to grow the investor community to enrich the exchanges, the contents of the site and the member area. We will have to focus on animating this beautiful group and allow each investor to grow. As you know from the video conference replay, some of them have great projects. We will follow them to train you by sharing more and more information from our experiences. This year again, I am also one of the lucky buyers of parking lots.

Review of the year 2016 : a word from the collective’s founder

I will start my traditional review by telling you about good resolutions for 2017. The current economic situation has made our site a reference for all those who want to make money. The year 2016 will have seen some great successes among our members, starting from nothing, some of them have come out of the woodwork either to create additional income with parking lots or to build a professional future by being their own bosses as managers of parking lots and garages. I feel like telling you why it wouldn’t be your turn in 2017 ?

I cannot present the balance sheet of the year 2016 without telling you about our beautiful community, that’s why, I will start by warmly thanking the many donors who have allowed us to create new modules and to carry our future developments, which I will tell you about a little further on … Without members our collective would not exist: so thank you for your initiatives, your good mood, but especially your questions that represent the real wealth and constantly feeds our platform! When we passed the milestone of about thirty members, I understood that we had to take a real turn and better structure our volunteer team. I’m going to wink at our grumpy members who will recognize themselves ? I know that the new modules and content can’t come fast enough.
